โ Important note

The grey partridge is in sharp decline in intensive farmland areas. Gamebirds found after hunting seasons may have embedded shot pellets โ inform the CRAS.
โ Legal protection
The pheasant and red-legged partridge are huntable species with a hunting calendar. The grey partridge is in decline and in some regions subject to strict limitations. The wild quail is protected.
